Mr. Majed A. Alrasheed

Mr. AlRasheed is the General Secretary of the Saudi Bankruptcy Commission.  He was previously the CEO of the Saudi Center of Commercial Arbitration (SCCA).

 

Prior to launching SCCA, Saudi Arabia's first institutional arbitration and mediation center on October 2, 2016, Mr. Al-Rasheed lead a number of legal, ICT, and Islamic Finance initiatives within some of the largest banks in Saudi Arabia, including: Bank of AlBilad and AlRajhi Bank.

 

In addition to working as legal advisor on projects with Qassem Law Firm in cooperation with Allen and Overy, he was legal adviser with Assaf Law Firm in cooperation with Squire Sanders.

 

He completed the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb - UK) International Commercial Arbitration Certification Course held at Oxford University.
